Hey Brits

Britons!

What is the cultural equivalent of "ambulatorio" in England, under NHS?

Sorry to use my blog like Twitter. Back to regularly scheduled programming.

  1. Hi Danielle,
The correct translation would be 'outpatient department'. Be sure to tell them to ignore the perennial mistake made in the UK of forcing the poor recovering patient into a plural. Do I get a free copy of your self-made pronunciation book as a prize? (Pretty please?!)
    Jamie.

  2. Thanks Jamie! Luckily, this won't go to any students for them to muck it up (I'm correcting someone's scientific article for a British journal).

Email me at cookingbrazil@gmail.comto talk about the book
