Hey, so. I think it's high time we organize a São Paulo blogger meetup before people start dispersing for the holidays. This meetup would include all of you ex-pats living in and around São Paulo, plus the handful of Brazilians with blogs / ties to the US / an interest in meeting people and speaking English and having a good day, plus anyone else (ahem LindseycomevisitagainfromRio), plus everyone's kids and partners. The more the merrier!
Thoughts? Would you go?

I ALWAYS wanted to go to the Portuguese Language museum! But maybe something foodish is better. But it's my Sao Paulo desire.

ReplyDeleteI am in! I would love it, but really depends on the date. Dec 3rd is kinda the only weekend I have as we are out of town for holidays coming up. Can I throw that out as a date??? I think the Port language museum or the soccer museum would be fun to do and then a few beers/caipirinhas somewhere?

My last Saturday class is Dec. 3rd. So sadly not on but only after. Don't let my unpleasant schedule hold you guys back. I know it's too close to holidays.

@Nina - the Portuguese Language museum is awesome! I got to visit it (but not for long enough) 5 years ago; I'd definitely go back.

Obv not trying to arrange this around me though, so if early/mid jan wont work for you guys then go ahead and plan away, ill be sad to miss it!
So since most of these comments are of the "I wish I could go!" variety, maybe we should take Jana's advice and wait until after the holidays... I won't be able to go after the 3rd, either.
